Excellent instrument (skip the boot)Jul 06, 2010 I have been very pleased with this gauge. It seems accurate, is repeatable, and is very easy to read. Makes a great replacement for my Neotech500, which finally died at 25 years. I'd highly recommend it.
In spite of the note at Amazon saying that customers also bought a particular gauge boot, DON'T. It isn't needed (the gauge has a rubber ring already), and the boot they recommend doesn't fit and lacks a hole for the power button.
Decent gauge for the price, not racing quality.Jun 22, 2010 The gauge works ok. It reads very accurately while you are holding it tight on the valve stem. It drops a tenth or two when you take it off.
It is perfectly fine as a very accurate pressure gauge for normal or professional use. This is not what I would consider a high quality RACING gauge.
Also the chuck would be easier to use if it where a 90 degree end. Guess you need to spend the money for a racing gauge.
As AdvertisedJun 16, 2010 Simple and easy to use. Having tenths is helpful to get just the pressure your looking for. If a track junky you'll be happy with it. Especially love backlighting for dark situations. Comes with a canvas pouch for storing.
Not worth the high priceJun 15, 2010 Much has been written about this product, and I have nothing to add other than the reason for my one star review. The gauge wouldn't seal on any of the tires on either of my cars. Readings were erratic, inconsistent, in short, useless. Also beware if you have short valve stems, as the gauge seems to require longer ones. In my case that made little difference, so I've returned it.
Racing GaugeJun 12, 2010 Gauge does not work very well. The attachment for the valve sticks and does not make a good connection.
