Difficult to install, Poor designed fitJan 15, 2010 I have several ZAGG Invisible Shield products for various devices. In the past the installation kits had a mist spray bottle. The fine mist could be used to get an even coating of the product for installation. Now kits come with sponges that do not allow a thin even coating of the product for installation. The cut of the product varies from poor to worse than poor. The worst fit was with ZAGG's Invisible Shield for the Nikon D300. Neither of the two pieces was cut to the curve of the LCD screens. The product hung off the edges of the top screen and looked terrible. I attempted to trim the edges with a very sharp pen knife. The product stretched and tore. I was able to cut the larger back screen to fit using scissors while the product was still on its backing. Customer service was even worse than the product design. The responses from ZAGG customer service showed less intelligence with each successive correspondence. I did get a few chuckles while reading an E-mail asking for information that was in a previous sentence they wrote. All in all, the experience was much more frustrating than humorous. After over half of a dozen tries with ZAGG products, I am giving up. I will not purchase any additional products from ZAGG.
Great product but IMPOSSIBLE to applyJan 03, 2010 The Invisible Shield product itself is great, but it is so difficult to apply to something as large as a laptop that I'd recommend against buying it.
I watched the videos, followed the instructions, but it is impossible to apply without getting bubbles and/or creases in it. I ended up throwing it away - basically fifty bucks down the drain. Now, if they charged $100 for it and one could mail the laptop to them so THEY could install and return quickly, it would be a good deal - that's how good the product itself is. But of the purchaser can't apply so it looks good, what's the value?

Great protection and looks after installNov 05, 2009 I read alot of reviews about this product that people cant install it and they need 4 arms. This product is very easy to install by yourself. It comes with a solution you spray on your macbook and also the back of the sticker. This creates lubrication so that you can center it and also so that when you spread the water out of it then all the air bubbles go out also. You have to keep your computer off for some time afterwards and during install. You do have to be carefull when using the spreader that you look for the air bubbles and remove them in the process rather than sealing the outside edges and leaving the water and air bubbles in the center.
Granted I have done stuff like this before but it's spray and wipe people. You do not need a NASA scientist to help you.
Skip the track pad protector as you completely lose the feel you need to operate multi-touch properly.

Group Project Invisible Shield (Macbook) Save your money.May 23, 2009 I have installed invisible shield on two ipod touches. Works great! I decided to install one on my macbook...not so easy if not next to impossible. I never did succeed, the material seemed way too sticky and with the size of it it is very hard to prevent it from sticking to itself; after much difficulty I gave up.
I couldn't find any video tutorials on installation for the macbook or something of that size. If I had four arms instead of two I may have been able to apply this overly sized sticker to my macbook. This material was originally developed for NASA. I think you would have to be a member of NASA to get this installed correctly! Maybe ZAGGS Inc. will start their own college where you could get certified on installation of invisible shields!
$50 waste.

Great product-horrible, non-existent customer service. Lifetime Warranty? Not really...Apr 07, 2009 Purchased this over 10 months ago and wanted to take it off and realign it again. Once it came off, there was no way it was going back on. Contacted Zagg.com and received the same copy & pasted responses from 4 different customer reps!
They all say the same thing: You must register...you must register...but if you don't register, they will not accept your receipt. Emailed a digital copy of my receipt 3 times now and no response!
Lifetime warranty? Only if you buy directly from Zagg. Lifetime warranty? Only if you register it (by the way, their website USED to say: "By purchasing this from us, there is no need to do anything-you're already registered!" Now they have changed it- horrible policy!)
Think twice before you purchase- you might be sorry. Oh and pay no mind to the moron Chen-he obviously didn't read the review and as an employee of Zagg, of course he will defend them.
