OtterBox Defender Case for BlackBerry CurveJul 29, 2010
I used this cover for 2 months now, I am happy with it, it saved my Blackberry many times. So the cover is of very good design, it covers the unit fully and most of all it affords a high level of protection. I have used it in the rain, in the sand storm and I dropped it a few times.
It is very easy to install the protective layers. Not that easy to remove if you want to do a full reset by removing the battery. You can download a battery reset simulator from you know where if you do not want to go thru the battery removal to reset your unit.
The holster is nice and it provides a tight grip.
In holster function are fully active.

This is the 2nd otterbox that I have purchased. I put it on my blackberry the moment I got the phone and I haven't gotten a scratch or any damage to the phone. The only reason I have had to buy a second otterbox is because I wore the first one out. The case does protect your keyboard with the plastic cover and the rubber shell for the phone itself. This is an excellent product and most phone dealers will recommend this product to ensure the safety of your phone.

I really liked the Otterbox case and the way it fits together, very tight and durable. However, the screen overlay looks like it sticks to the Blackberry screen, which makes an area that is hard to read through. Also, ever since I put it on, everyone I call says they can't hear me or I sound muffled. I have trouble with conversations because people keep says "what?" Also, the case does not shut the Blackberry screen off, like the original case does. I was disappointed in that.
I like it, but there are drawbacks. I wish I had just gotten the cheaper Bodyglove case.

Every thing was good, except for the flap that cover the USB and Headphong plug, must be careful with it, Because it got torn at the edges. The other choice is to cut half of it off for the USB plug.
