Not for hard-core playJul 14, 2010 You get what you pay for. I wanted a cheap pad to play DDR on as a workout. I'm not very good at the game, so this pad is okay for my needs. However, if you plan on playing on the higher difficulties, DO NOT ORDER THIS! My fiance is a hardcore DDRer and the pad slips around really badly. The up arrow is very touchy, so it misses at least half the time when you're going really fast. You can tell the pad is really cheaply made. It's very sticky and the edges tend to roll up. The hilarious Engrish in the manual was enjoyable, though.
Buy Konami pad insteadJul 07, 2010 This pad is a cheap knockoff of the pad which comes bundled with the game. It's much worse. The game itself is great- but this pad, and it's horrifically written instructions are not worth your time. The pad slips, buttons are unresponsive, and the material is cheap. Just get konami's version instead.
Great pad, skips if not properly secureJun 28, 2010 I had a previous controller before this one. I personally bought a piece of plywood bigger than the pad and attached it to it. Once properly secure,I can jump on top of it without any problems of missing the padkeys or slipping from the floor.

Love DDR!Mar 09, 2010 I love playing DDR and for the longest time I only had one generic dance pad. It was fine for a while until I started having more people interested in playing with me. Taking turns was not an option, so I went on the hunt for an inexpensive dance mat that would be what I needed. Instead of buying just one, I bought two of these and they are great! They are exactly what I was looking for and really do the job!! I have had zero issues with them and would highly recommend these if anyone is needing a replacement mat or just wants to try it out! The dancing games are really fun and these mats really work great!
