 Bottom part near the touchpad is not cut rightFeb 22, 2010
I purchased this a couple of weeks ago.
It does its job, I think, but I would look for a different product later.
The bottom right part of the product is not cut right, so it creates a gap. When I close the lid, that part sticks out.
I would have given three stars if this product was less than $10.

This product does exactly what it's meant to do and works well.
- It covers the keyboard and fits the keys very well.
- It prevents spills, oil, dirt etc on getting onto the keys which leaves the computer in pristine condition. I have split many things on my keyboard only to be saved by this silicone skin. For this reason I highly recommend this product.
The downsides however are as follows
- It changes the way the keys feel and the amount of pressure you need to type. It's wasn't noticeable at first but after a while, I found myself switching between having the skin on and off because I really liked typing on the original keyboard where so little pressure is needed. It was also better for my wrist pain. So if you really really like the soft pressure of a Mac keyboard, I wouldn't recommend this product for you (unless you want "clean" keys more)
- The skin is "cloudy" not clear so it's better if you know how to type
- After a while the skin gets little flecks of dust that's hard to get off even with washing. It's not enough to bother me (note: i have a high level of neatness) but every so often, I wonder if they can make one that doesn't "capture" dust on it

I spilled a glass of water on the keyboard recently... Never fear, the cover prevented the water from going into my keyboard and causing damage to my computer. Best $15.00 investment I've made in some time...
