2Pulls off after a week or twoJul 28, 2010
I had this professionally installed after buying my iPhone 4 at Best Buy. They tell you not to touch or turn on the phone for at least an hour after installation, which I followed religiously (I even kept it in the original box so it wouldn't be jostled around). The first shield lasted about two weeks, at which point it began to pull off after cuddling up to my leather wallet. I returned to Best Buy, they installed another, and off I went, again following the "no-touchy!" rule. This time it lasted about a week before pulling off at the top right corner. Its demise, however, came when I put it in my arm band. The film grabbed a hold of the band's clear plastic cover and hung on for dear life when I tried to remove the phone.

The material is, for lack of a better word, rather tacky, and seems to stick to nearly everything. I definitely don't like the feel, and recommend purchasing a stiffer protector, with a lower coefficient of friction (that's right, I just nerded out in my review).

I gave this two stars because it actually does a good job of protecting the screen while it's attached. It is very resistant to scratching and pretty resilient. Unfortunately, its tendency to attach itself to nearby objects means I would recommend lighting your $20 on fire (or sending it to me) before buying the product.

5Best protectors around!!Jul 25, 2010
These work great!! They can be very tricky to apply correctly however. I would order more than one so you have a backup if you mess one up. More expensive I know, but so worth it!

1I think IPAD would look better scratchedJul 20, 2010
See if you can apply a similarly sized piece of scotch tape to glass, fitted perfectly. If you can, maybe you'll have better luck with this product than I. It's probably impossible to apply without bubbles, though you could if they'd only cut the back of the paper it is stuck to.

It must be applied all at once in a single sheet. Good luck. It creates a wavy look to your screen, with a few bubbles underneath. This isn't like getting an otter box and being impressed at the ease of use, etc. This item is truly a waste of money.

2good...if your job involves throwing your phone at wallsJul 19, 2010
im probably not getting this screen protector again anytime soon. ill admit that it protects the phone from any kind of scratch...i wouldnt be surprised if i could hammer a nail into it with not a scratch in sight. but, what it doesnt tell you is that it takes about a year to install, that you must wait 24 hours after installation to use your phone [for some reason], and that it gives the screen a sticky plasticy feel afterwards to top it off. so if you have a job that requires you to get your hands dirty and still use your phone, get this...everyone else, avoid this product!

2***if you do***if you don't (do it yourself)Jul 17, 2010
I have had a couple of devices covered by ZAGG with the InvisibleSHIELD. The InvisibleSHIELD is a good product, but it depends largely on the quality of the installation which ZAGG performs through booths at malls, in my case at the Brea Mall in California. The first device was my teenage son's cell phone which has withstood his abuse. The second was my iphone. The Zagg installer took two hours to install it, well beyond the 40 minutes they ask you to wait. She told me that she was struggling to make a corner stick and if it came undone just to bring it back. It came undone, and an attendant who was working at the Brea location at about 4:30 pm on July 16, 2010, lectured me on the product warranty covering the InvisibleSHIELD but not the labor for re-installing it which would cost $10. Hence while InvisibleSHIELD provides its product warranty to ZAGG, ZAGG does not cover their installation which may in fact ruin a perfectly good SHIELD. My advice....don't depend on ZAGG to properly train the installers ...the $10 re-installing charge is a margin maker for ZAGG plain and simple. Pretty shoddy...read the fine print.
